Technical Details

Records are configured and then verified by resolution, never assumed from the control panel display. A and AAAA records point at verified addresses, CNAME chains are kept short, and MX records carry deliberate priorities with no orphaned host. Email authentication is the part most often broken silently: SPF is kept within the ten DNS lookup limit and flattened only where the sending set is stable, DKIM public keys are verified character for character after publication, and DMARC begins at p=none with aggregate reporting before any move to quarantine or reject. Verification after publication is not optional here. A control panel API can alter what it stores, and a plus character in a TXT value being converted to a space will produce a DKIM record that exists, resolves and is the right length while failing every signature check. Keys are therefore compared byte for byte against the source. TTLs are lowered before a planned change and raised afterwards. Nameservers are redundant and on separate infrastructure, and DNSSEC is enabled where the registrar and resolver path support it.
